We’re less than a week away from pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring Training, so that can mean only one thing for the hardcore statisticians and fantasy GM’s of the world… BASEBALL SEASON.

Like the rest of you, the last few weeks have been spent patiently (impatiently) waiting for the ESPN Fantasy Baseball website to reopen.  This site will be dedicated to rankings, prospects and potential trade options.  You won’t need a computer science degree to understand the analysis, or be a diehard fan in order to benefit from the analysis.

At the end of the day, I can’t promise you’ll win 80% of the leagues you enter as I have over the past 4 seasons.  Luck will play a substantial role (without Santiago Casilla’s blown save against the Orioles last year, I would’ve been looking at a first round exit rather than a Championship).  However, it’s all about putting yourself in the best postition.

So whether you’re in a redraft league, a keeper, a perennial contender or a league bottom feeder, the goal is to rethink how you approach fantasy baseball in order to become a champion.

Draft day awaits.
